ABOUT NILSEN COLLEGE
Principal's Message
Greetings from Nilsen College.
“Education is not the learning of facts but the training of the mind to think”
- Albert Einstein
Welcome to the website of Nilsen College, Vatukoula.
As the Head of School, I feel honored and privileged to be part of a great institute where every stakeholder is a learner and daily is an opportunity to discover and learn. We see ourselves as a community of learners, where everyone has an opportunity to learn including our teachers, parents and guardians.
Our staff employs two born strategies that are of love and logic to foster a positive learning atmosphere of all our students. Love nurtures strong relationships where students feel respected, appreciated and loved by teachers, Logic helps develop in students’ personal responsibility, self-care in decision making skills, self confidence and building great moral values.
Your child’s learning involves and revolves around an effective partnership between home and school. We strongly believe the stronger the partnership, the more the child will benefit.
I look forward to your cooperation in creating a school environment where parents and guardians are welcome anytime with students engaged in meaningful learning and the staff members are valued and appreciated for their tireless efforts.
I warmly welcome you to visit us to discuss issues, educate and mold your most precious gift.... your child!
We know how important your children are so let’s do all that we can, to nurture them in a creative and artistic environment where beyond the sky is the limit.
